The OCHIN Learning Institue (OLI) is eager to share the exacting training opportunities we have coming up over the next few months.

  • Events are scheduled, one-time training events provided by OCHIN. Events are open and available to the OCHIN Collaborative, but you must register to attend. A list of upcoming events is available on the right sidebar, or in Ella's Calendar.
  • Courses are collections of exercise and competencies to support defined learning objectives. Courses are available through OCHIN’s Products and Services offerings that are made available via SOW. Acuere Foundations This introductory webinar will teach new end users how to use Acuere's basic functionality. New Acuere users are encouraged to attend the entire webinar, while more experienced users are welcome to attend only segments that are of interest. Using Acuere to Drive Improvement This advanced web-based training will teach end users how to use Acuere to drive improvement through practices such as benchmarking, patient compliance alerts, and PDSA cycles. Training Event – see Ella's Calendar for upcoming sessions.
Acuere Coaching This specialized service is designed to provide customized coaching to further develop understanding of Acuere functionality, workflows, reporting capabilities, and/or Acuere's application to quality and process improvement. This service is offered by request only and does have an associated cost.
As a result of Acuere Coaching services, participants will be able to:
1. Use Acuere features to generate specific reports (e.g., reports needed for governing entities such as Medicare and Medicaid)
2. Identify different workflows in order to reconcile data discrepancies between EMRs and Acuere
3. Integrate Acuere into clinical, business, and/or improvement projects

Reporting Workbench Intermediate This interactive web-based training builds on the skills and knowledge that learners gained through Reporting Workbench Foundations. Through real case examples, illustrations, and “treasure hunt” activities, learners will gain hands-on experience identifying templates and troubleshooting and understanding reports. Resolute: Billing Coaching

This specialized service is flexible and designed to provide tailored coaching to further develop understanding of Epic Billing and Claims functionality, workflow optimization, and system configuration options. Engagements can be remote or onsite, depending on clinic preference and need. As a result of Billing Coaching services, participants will be able to:

1. Use Epic Resolute efficiently, learning the tips, tricks and shortcut keys to navigate quickly and perform work on multiple records concurrently
2. Identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing the Finance Dashboard and Graph Package
3. Request updates to system build and configuration to meet clinic-specific policies and contracts
4. Optimize revenue cycle and financial outcomes

JIRA Core for Site Specialists and OCHIN Staff This introductory, web-based training will demonstrate how to use JIRA Core to submit and work tickets, and navigate the various aspects of JIRA. This course will be recorded and posted to OCHIN's Learning Management System for future reference. The first hour will be for both Site Specialists as well as OCHIN Staff, the last 30 minutes of the session is designated specifically for OCHIN staff to learn about the tempo plug-in.
